I would also love it if he got a spin-off series, obviously - but that looks very much as if Paul, when filming Night of the Doctor, stopping to play in the set for Eleven's TARDIS.

Which is also lovely in its own way. :-D

It would be "timey-wimey" to have two Doctors running around at the same time. I agree, in that the date stamp on this was right before his appearance in the Night of the Doctor, it was probably him playing around in Eleven's TARDIS, not a spoiler for a spin-off.

Well my head keeps telling me "Oh he's just visiting the current TARDIS set and having a moment to himself" and another part of me is going "Is this what the Curator meant by "some of the old favorites"?!"

The spin off series for the eighth doctor is long overdue. Paul McGann is a wonderful and handsome and brilliant actor.

The petition for BBC to create the eight doctor series spin off has reached 18,517 signatures.

But, I'm afraid we have to be realistic. :(

How likely is it that BBC is going to create an eighth doctor spin off series?

They're busy with series 8 with Peter Calpadi. Moffat did say that Night of the Doctor was about resolving the regeneration from eighth to nine that the fans didn't see in the movie....

Often the case when a doctor regenerates, his previous incarnation doesn't return back to the small TV screen.

Would BBC really consider showing the eighth doctor's days in the Time War?

Or would you like to see live action of some of big finish audio plays?

Or does the twelfth doctor degenerate to the eighth doctor?

Whenever I set my expectations really low, I won't be disappointed much and pleasantly surprised when they are fulfilled.

Anyways, fingers crossed to see what happens!

Dear goodnes, PLEASE.

The webisode was well received, and that's basically what got Sarah-Jane her own series. I'd give anything for them to adapt the Big Finish audios!
